ORBUS: derived from "Orb" (which means sphere or circle) and "Business". Orbus is the literal representation of "Sphere of Business". It is pronounced 'Or-bis'.
While Orbus Chapters are business networking, referrals and leads clubs, they are also much more. Orbus members are firstly entrepreneurs looking to grow your business, but also people who support their community and are socially responsible. You will be part of a group of community-minded businesses who “give back,” and who part in building a better community with opportunities for business referrals and business events. These businesses are forward-thinking and accept the responsibility for growing a better future for their communities. They know that healthier communities lead to healthier businesses. Orbus programs are available to put them front and centre in helping their community.
The Garden City Chapter
Being the first established Orbus Business Networks Chapter in Victoria, BC, the Garden City Chapter prides itself on its energy-filled, highly-inclusive monthly networking luncheons and special events. From professionals who have been working in their respective fields for decades, to new, start-up entrepreneurs, each member and guest brings their unique talents and depths of knowledge to the Chapter.
The community that the Garden City Chapter forms is committed to a "partners in business" philosophy, with reasonable time commitments and dedicated networking opportunities that allow individuals to stay focused on the growth of their ventures.
